Ron and I have been married for 35 years and have spent all but 4 of them in Sarasota.  We have two adult daughters -- both marrried in 2006-07 within 6 months of each other - PHEW!  Lauren is living in Austin, Lindsay in Bradenton.  I have worked as a secretary for the school system for the last twenty years while Ron has been self-employed remodeling kitchens.  Life has been very good to us and we are thankful for good health and family.
A HUGE thank you to the reunion committee!  Great  job!

2022 - Ron and I are approaching 48 years of marriage....and have lived happily in the same home (with a few changes) in Sarasota.  Since retiring 6 years ago I have enjoyed the privilege of time with no schedule , walking with friends, bike riding and quilting.  We have one local grandson, and the other two grands live in Austin TX., where we visit often; last year attending the Formula 1 race with our family.
Looking forward to seeing all of you this weekend.

Life is grand, here in North Carolina. Married my high school sweetheart in 1973; she still loves me. We have lots of adult kids and a new generation of grandkids to love. Semi-retired, with lots of time to travel for short grandpa and Gigi visits. Life got a lot better when we started serving the Lord in the 80's. Can't imaging life not being centered on Christ. Hi all! This gray sheep married mid-30s and has celebrated 30+ yrs. 32 yo daughter, now married. Dropped outa FSU midstream and stayed on in Denver after a winter visit w/the folks in '73. Married into Boulder (a jewel at the fold of the continent) and am fortunate to live with the Flatirons as our backdrop, literally in their shadow. ||||| After a pair of unexpected terminal hospitalizations (my folks') in south FL, was sufficiently motivated to write Notes from the Waiting Room: Managing a Loved One's End of Life Hospitalization (2008), a book on how to advocate when hospitalized, and how to manifest the resolve to die peacefully…followed by The Promised Landing: A Gateway to Peaceful Dying (2018). My EOL lexicon is now complete; explore at www.AxiomAction.com.  When asked, I speak and present on these topics.  ||||| Gave up drumming in my early 30s after all that time focusing to one or another degree on it. Had some ecstatic moments as a player. Traded the drums one Sunday afternoon for a home theater system ;) . It was a good move; the kit my folks originally purchased at Jules' in downtown Sarasota had grown into a room-sized behemoth. ||||| Windsurfing is another delight (there's a surprisingly large Colorado contingent), albeit a challenging one to pursue. 2 days' drive equidistant between the Texas coast and the Columbia River Gorge, I usually hit one or the other annually...totally different sailing conditions (the Gorge is insane). ||||| If you come to the Front Range, let me know. I retired from Sarasota High after 42 years teaching English, mostly Advanced Placement Lit and Honors English 4 in 2016. I enjoy tennis and I still substitute teach at both SHS and at the Out of Door Academy. I attended the University of Florida where I was a Gator Cheerleader and a Chi Omega. I graduated summa cum laude in 1974 from Florida and entered the education profession. Except for my college years, I have always lived in Sarasota.

Except for college and law school, I have always lived in Sarasota. On June 30, 2021, I retired from my 44-year career as a real estate lawyer with the Williams Parker firm. In 1987 I tricked a beautiful woman with poor eyesight to marry me, and Mary Jane and I have celebrated 34 years of marriage since. We have a 33-year-old son, Price, who is a mechanical engineer with Electric Boat in New London, CT, working on the design of nuclear submarines. My stepson, Charles, and his wife have two teenage daughters and live in Golden, CO, where he sells commercial fire alarm and security systems. Both my parents died within 3 months of each other in 2007-08, and my sister, Kathy, died unexpectedly in 2018 after contracting the H1-N1 virus on a cruise to Alaska. Mary Jane and I split time between our homes in Sarasota and Callaway Gardens, Georgia.
